Choosing a Rescue Course
Be sure you are getting the level of training that will best prepare you for your level of risk at work or at play. Under federal legislation (Bill C-45), it is increasingly important for employers to make sure their employees are trained to the "standard-of-care". Our courses fulfill that requirement for professionals working around moving water, in motorized watercraft, with low and high angle rope systems, and on surface or flat ice.
For example, the recommended training for those working in or on moving water is a Technician-level course. An Operations-level course prepares you to work on shore only, while an Awareness-level course means you should stay more than 10' from moving water. We also offer specialized, non-certificate courses for those who whitewater kayak or canoe. For more information about our various courses, and who should take them, please click here.
