WCB Guidelines for Cold Water Immersion

Guidelines for operations in cold water including proper personal protection equipment, considerations for self rescue, as well as information about cold shock and hypothermia. Targeted toward the offshore fishing industry but has some applicability for those working in swiftwater environments as well.

our approach

We believe training should be tailored to the specific needs of each client. While we teach all the skills and knowledge necessary for certification, we approach a course for emergency personnel in an entirely different manner than one for resource managers or outdoor guides.
